I'm interested to know the estimated percentage of Copper Underwings that are Svensson's Copper Underwings. Is it 1/10, 1/20, or maybe 1/50? I don't want to handle a moth, so perhaps I could reasonably conclude that I've trapped a Svensson after catching, say, 50 CU aggs. 😉

Last night, putting the trap out wasn't my best idea. I woke up just after 1 am to heavy rain. I decided to bring the trap inside and, with a torch in hand, check the walls, windows, and grass for #moths. Looking in the trap, it was full of Thorns and other regulars. #TeamMoth
