ICJ dismisses Sudan's request for provisional measures against the UAE under the Genocide Convention ruling that it lacks jurisdiction. Case also dropped from the General List. As others have noted on here, the ICJ did NOT consider the merits and the question remains open.

I've seen the phrase 'beyond the pale' being used to describe the situation in #Gaza. There are no words or phrases to describe the crime of starvation and the lack of courage by the international community to stand up for a fundamental tenet of international law. We all despair.
