Dictators like to mask their illegitimacy with pompous displays of empty symbolism. Putin crowned himself & preached about equality in foreign relations, yet he continues to issue threats & deny the sovereignty of Ukrainians & Belarusians. Dictators won't stop until we stop them!

Why are these professional propagandists who weaken democracies and support authoritarians treated with any respect at all?

They should be shamed and shunned, not normalized by being invited to cushy media & tech conferences as happens now.

The images of Palestinian civilian casualties & dead children coming out of Rafah are truly horrendous & beyond shocking. Some of the children are cut up in pieces, maimed, squeezed by debris, their dead bodies looking featureless & crushed by concrete - absolutely gut-wrenching
