This month we enjoyed a retreat with a range of exciting talks and posters coming from WredenbergLab, Nils-Göran Larsson, Roberta Filograna, Mito@GU, Arnaud Mourier, the Rorbach group, the Lightowlers group and KI CMMS. Thanks to all who participated in this fantastic weekend!
Congratulations to MolMet Principal Investigator Anna Wredenberg WredenbergLab who was recently awarded the Ascending Investigator grant from Novo Nordisk Fonden. Read more on the project 'Understanding and targeting mitochondrial dysfunction' below! researchleaderprogramme.com/recipients/ann…
More funding success for the division comes from group leader Roberta Filograna who has successfully obtained support from Hedlunds Stiftelse to investigate the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease. Congratulations Roberta Filograna!
It was great to hear this story going out to such a big audience yesterday, congratulations Annika Krüger!
If you’re a fan of metabolism, mitochondria and their role in disease mechanisms, we have a great opportunity to work with us in Stockholm. We are looking for an enthusiastic PostDoc to join our group in Division of Molecular Metabolism, KI at Karolinska Institutet. mitojobs ki.varbi.com/en/what:job/jo…
Are you interested in understanding the molecular basis of mitochondrial DNA disease? We are looking for enthusiastic PostDocs to join the group of Nils-Göran Larsson (Nils-Göran Larsson) within Division of Molecular Metabolism, KI at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. ki.varbi.com/en/what:job/jo…
Last week, Larsson group postdoc Diana Rubalcava joined Nils-Göran Larsson to attend the Nobel reception following two amazing lectures delivered by Katalin Kariko and The Drew Weissman Lab. A fantastic opportunity to meet an inspirational Nobel Prize winner!
Recruitment for another very exciting position within the division is currently ongoing! Roberta Filograna is expanding her group, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic postdoc to investigate the role mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegenerative disease. ki.varbi.com/en/what:job/jo…
A further exciting opportunity to join our friendly and motivated division, this time as a postdoc within WredenbergLab! The group employ a range of in vivo and cell based models to investigate mechanisms of mitochondrial metabolism and disease.
This week, postdocs Diana Rubalcava and Ruth Glasgow from Nils-Göran Larsson Lab and WredenbergLab represented the division and brought data from the mitochondrial gene expression field with selected talks at #RNAUK2024
Learned so much over an incredible four days at #RNAUK2024 and am so excited to have been awarded the best postdoc talk award. Grateful to have had the opportunity share my work from WredenbergLab Division of Molecular Metabolism, KI with a broader RNA biology audience! Thank you BCI RNA HUB!
