The Green Party can't claim to be 'welcoming' or 'inclusive' full stop. When you dismiss women's right to single sex spaces, and refuse to engage with women on the issue, you are the opposite of welcoming. You are nothing more than an echo chamber, no better than Reform.

I don't remember any 'GC' women supporting Trump or believing he is any sort of feminist. They were angry that it took someone like Trump to take the issue of men in women's spaces and sports seriously.

So many young men, who claim to be on the left, are determined to silence women. The Greens are quickly becoming an authoritarian dictatorship, who demand capitulation to the men demanding access to women's spaces, sports and services.

Why am I bothered? Small percentages of the population have a big impact. Gay kids are harmed by gender ideology. Women in my life, who desperately need single sex spaces to feel safe, dignified or just because they want privacy are affected. Why have women's spaces at all?

Of course our sex is a part of who we are. It's just one of a number of things that shape our life experiences. If it wasn't for the my sex I wouldn't be recognised as a gay man. Women wouldn't have to fight for reproductive rights or for fair sports. Sex matters.
