I watched Residue (2017) and loved it. I'm such a sucker for horror detective stories, and it had everything I liked (a Down On His Luck scruffy, grimy detective, the Cool Daughter, a sense of humor and charm, a voice-over, etc) and I just, enjoyed watching it
