Our foodbank collection was donated to the fantastic staff at Rumney Forum this morning, ready to restock their very busy foodbank. It is always a pleasure to visit and see all the hardwork you do within our community!

As many of you will know, The Llanrumney Hall Pantry often donates back into the community by giving to organisations such as Rumney Forum   Last week, ITV News were filming a segment on Rumney Forum. This was surprisingly at the same time our staff were dropping off a donation.

Many thanks to Rumney Forum for having us in this morning. We were so happy to be able to award their amazing #volunteers with their #CVA2023 certificates personally! We even bumped into the BBC crew who were doing some interviewing about the new Child Poverty Strategy.

We had a busy morning at Rumney Forum talking to volunteers at the Pantry and signposting to volunteering opportunities on Gwirfoddoli Cymru / Volunteering Wales. The volunteers were nominated to Cardiff Volunteer Award 2023. It was also great to learn about the local initiatives such as Llanrumney Pickers.

Members of our Y8 Chaplaincy Team had a great time volunteering at Rumney Forum today. They spent their time organising and sorting through all the shoes, winter coats and apparel to clear space for the busy centre. Thank you for having us & for all you do in our community 🙏

Members of our Y7 Chaplaincy Team had a great time volunteering at Rumney Forum today. We managed to organise some of the school uniform section, making it is easier to shop for the local community. Thank you so much for the donation of 🎸 🎻 to our St Illtyd's Music department!
