The Adelaide Law School graduation ceremony for the 2023 cohort was held on Tuesday 7 May. Alongside the Bachelor of Laws, Masters of Law and GDLP graduates, the ceremony featured some of the first recipients of the RUMLAE-created Professional Certificate in Space Law.



Recently, Ayan Abdirashid Ali presented at the ICRC for the 75th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, giving a lecture on Somali customary laws of war to over 150 attendees. Her research is part of the wider series called The Laws of Yesterday’s Wars by RUMLAE member Samuel White.

RUMLAE congratulates Emma Colovic and Evelyn Walker who participated in this year’s IHL & Advocacy course and represented the Uni of Adelaide at the recent ALSA Red Cross National IHL Moot Competition in Hobart. We are very happy to say that they were crowned National Champions.
