I remember OPay being the only name Chinese VCs wanted even pre-pivot. The capital was immense (I always remind people of this who want to win consumer in NG), but this was king-making by folks who really understood what it meant to grind out an emerging market win.

The NGX has hit double-digit returns for the fourth consecutive (could have been five, really). The last time we had it this good was in 2004 (a period when stockbroking was a very lucrative career, and brokers fed fat).
