Today’s the day!

This evening I’ll officially become San Antonio’s seventh poet laureate and start a 3-year journey to promote literary arts for this amazing city.

I had an amazing time at #sabookfest this weekend! I got to spend time with many great writer friends and the festival staff and volunteers are so gracious and giving. A huge thank you to all of them. Here I am doing one of the things I love most!
