What’s crazy is when you spend as much time with your medically fragile child in the nicu as I have, you spend as much time with the parents and other kids there. You share each other’s experiences and hardships. Not every story has a happy ending and it still traumatizes me.

My daughter had physical therapy Friday and she has been in bed since. Her back is hurting. I hate seeing her like this.

It really upsets me how there is no urgent care in this area on the weekends. My daughter is in a lot of pain and nothing I’m doing for her is helping. It’s so hard seeing her go through this.

I’m close to 50-years-old and I still play video games. It really helps with my ADHD. I’m able to focus on the game and it blocks out all the noise in my head.
