Our Inspector managed to #rescue this #Muntjac #Deer that had gotten stuck between a fence post & a wall in #Ledbury #Herefordshire. With some careful manoeuvring she was lifted enough to free her. Warning, Muntjac have tusks & must be managed with caution #wildlife #animals (83)

DCI John Lawson & Insp Cathy Maddison rescued a buzzard that was trapped in a fence by its head. Found in the Bishop Auckland area the bird of prey appeared to have been there for some time before being spotted by local Police Officers RSPCA (England & Wales) #birdsofprey (52)

This juvenile swan got stuck down a narrow beck which had very steep sided & lots of tree coverage meaning he couldn't get back out without help. After he led us on a bit of a merry dance we eventually caught him & put him back on the pond where he came from RSPCA (England & Wales) (52)

ARO Steve came to the rescue of this silly young swan in #manchester this week, he was found wondering around in the street after a suspected crash landing. He was uninjured and reunited with his friends shortly after (72)

Inspector Jess dealt with a job last week of a young cat stuck up a very tall tree in #manchester, the brilliant Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service were able to assist with a platform that went up and over the tree and Inspector Jess was able to bring the cat to safety and back to his owner. Officers Lee and Jess responded to two gulls trapped in a small area between two buildings for 3 days in #manchester. ARO Lee was able to fit through a very small window and safely capture the gulls. Luckily both gulls were uninjured and were released afterwards 😍 (72)
