One thing that stands out in yesterday's FEC reports--the joint fundraising committees from House GOP leaders Mike Johnson, Steve Scalise, and Tom Emmer are firing on all cylinders when it comes to funneling hard dollars to Republicans facing potentially competitive races.

Reality check: Dems are way behind their 2006 & 2018 pace on the generic ballot at this point in the cycle. Ahead by only 2 pt vs. 7 pt in 2006/2018 cycles. Seat-by-seat analysis actually reveals more GOP pickup opportunities than Dems! Very much unlike 2006 & 2018 at this pt.

Any attempt to undermine the nonpartisan California Redistricting Commission will be strongly opposed in the courts and at the ballot box.

Charles Munger, Jr., has arisen in the X-Verse to throw down on Gavin Newsom. For those not in the know, Munger (yes the son of THAT Charles Munger) was the driving force behind creating the Redistricting Commission.

Today, I spoke with Secretary Sean Duffy during a T&I Committee Republicans oversight hearing about California’s failed high-speed rail project. Grateful for his partnership in ending federal funding for this mismanaged train to nowhere.
