âIs this anaphylaxis?â Sometimes you can't be sure. Centre for Clinical Research in Emergency Medicine's Francesca McGrath and Dr Abbie Francis identified biomarkers that can distinguish anaphylaxis from other forms of shock (e.g. sepsis or trauma).
