The Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has used today’s event in Bendigo to announce that the next round of applications in the government’s $20million Tiny Towns fund opens on Monday.

In response to today’s protest in Bendigo by 500 farmers and landholders, Premier Jacinta Allan says Victoria is ‘just a tick under’ the state’s 40% renewable energy target. “We must deliver new transmission networks… particularly in the north and west of the state.”

The Campaspe Shire dep mayor has told Vic Premier Jacinta Allan that 2 years on from floods, the town of Rochester is still in recovery. The town needs a lot of things including a new swimming pool which was ‘written off.’ Pic: ABC News
