Shutting people out protects, but it also isolates. It might keep you safe, but can also prevent that love you may want from coming in. Try to stay open to new people and possibilities. There's always risk, but oftentimes the rewards are better. #Healing #HealingJourney

Tonight I went to a gala for Restorative Pathways in Oakland. They're opening a 90 bed facility that provides housing, drug treatment and trauma support for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors, in the Bay Area. I donated because it's the right thing to do. #recovery
