The highest reported sustained wind speeds NHC could find for #HurricaneMilton averaged 47 mph lower than their "max sustained wind" estimates for the several hours around landfall time. This has been a persistent problem for landfalling hurricanes. #Helene had the same problem.

Re: "Hatch Act" trending on Twitter related to Trump buying a Tesla from Musk. Sorry, but (1) the Hatch Act does not cover the President, and (2) it has to do with executive branch employees being involved in political campaigns, not private enterprise.

Meteosat 3.9 (near-IR) imagery recorded a flash at the location of the #Fordow enrichment facility at 22:30 UTC. This is poor resolution (~16 sq. km) so the signature is subtle. rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/?sat=meteosat-…

Updated #Fordow #bombing before/after imagery from Maxar Tech satellites. Maybe 6 bomb entrance holes. I aligned these the best I could... the 2 different sat overpasses had different viewing angles, so parallax combined with the terrain produces spatial offsets.
