Jokes aside I feel one person's playstyle (which, by all accounts of dev talks, is the intended one "stand and fight"), shouldn't hamper other's enjoyment. Fact that people feel personally attacked and their playstyle "threatened" is just dumb. Just play how it makes you happy.

I love SMT1 but this encounter-rate is pretty brutal, seriously cannot imagine playing this on the original hardware without save-states. I sometimes go hours without seeing a single savepoint. Sometimes you fight multiple dungeons and bosses before another save. Brutal shit.
