Games being called off on Saturdays which is absolutely no shock and credit to those calling early. Let’s hope all Groundsman / Club secs that are in the same position to call off early do so so people can get on with their weekends and no wait for a call Sunday morning.

Cracking performance from the lads this morning. Injuries have hit us very hard the past few weeks and our season seemed to be fizzling out. Only just managing to field a team today and without a keeper the lads put on a show to beat West Oviedo 0-3 Luke Stanley x2 Andreas Doukanaris

I have decided to not affiliate the current Vets team next season. For now we will just be a Sunday Side. I am however open to speaking with any individuals who are considering starting a Vets team to take on the name in the spirit of the club. Do reach out if interested.

Should any team with a pitch have a team pull this weekend please reach out. Our pitch is not ready and we are unable to locate another to host. We always host, so this isn’t an ‘away only’ plea due to not being bothered to try and get a pitch… Thanks !

We went into todays game with half the team on holiday of otherwise engaged, the players that stepped in were unreal winning our first game in Div 2 having been promoted last season 0-4. Extremely strong squad forming and all excellent lads / characters.

Huge shout to the Ref also who is new to the Brentwood League. David Dice. Great ref, seemed like a good man. Well done to the league on obtaining a very competent ref.

Good performance and well deserved win from our opponents today. Not quite sure how it was deemed playable from the photos I received prior to KO ! #GameON
