3rd Grade - Almost finishing up with the Mosaic art. Looks promising!

5th Grade - Pixel artists must carefully place each pixel in their image, which is a great idea!

4th Grade - Thus far, artists have been coloring the oil pastel using Chiaroscuro techniques. Everything appears to be proceeding according to plan.

1st Grade - Artists have been inspired by Kandinsky to create abstract art creatively.

In the Renaissance period, Chiaroscuro became popular as a means of creating contrast between light and darkness in paintings. 4th Graders learned how to use that technique to enhance their paintings and create a more dramatic impact. Richland School District Two Richland2Arts Round Top Elementary

Students create a stained glass art piece by arranging colored glass-like pieces in a design. They learn about stained glass techniques and historical significance while expressing creativity through gallery, using glass leading and watercolor paint.

Students in 3rd grade are taught Pointillism and the practice is successful! Pointillism is a technique of painting that uses small dots of color to create an image.

It was a success for the fourth graders to paint and create scratch out art. Results are delivered expeditiously.

Using their problem solving and construction skills, kindergarten students built their Gingerbread house!

2nd Grade - It was a lot of fun for the 2nd graders to begin creating abstract art inspired by Kandinsky.

The second graders painted using watercolors, and now they are painting with acrylics. You will be surprised by the next steps!

Sudents in third grade is introduced to cave art, the very first art in history. Drawings and symbol-based storytelling were practiced by the students.

In the second grade, students completed both watercoloring and painting and then woven their creations together. It was a successful outcome.
