President’s night at #Giacomo’s went with a swing on Friday with the help of singer Stephanie Benson. Everyone enjoyed the excellent food on offer which also contributed to a relaxed and convivial evening. Past President Barry Ednie was presented with a #PaulHarrisFellowship.

Peter Thomas has taken office as President of Tonbridge Rotary for the coming Rotary year. He received the chain of office at the Presidential Handover on 26th June becoming the 102nd person to hold the position. David Baker takes over as PE and the new VP is Valentina Waters.

Yesterday a party of 11 from #SlideAway enjoyed a boat trip on the #Medway with the #KingfisherMedwayTrust. Slide Away supports bereaved and grieving young children in #Kent and was one of a number of organisations sponsored by the club to spend time on the river this week.

Members of the club took part in a presentation on 22nd July which marked the donation of £2,500 by the Club to Demelza Charity which cares for children with serious or life-threatening conditions.

Update on our involvement with SeeBeyondBorders: Our Raising the Bar report for 2025 has been published, showing findings from the schools we work with and trying to put into perspective both the challenges #Cambodian education faces and the work SBB is doing to address them.
