World Environment Day seeks to raise awareness about environmental issues. It hopes to curb climate change, minimize pollution, and create sustainable goals to ensure the Earth’s health. This day aims to reduce human consumption to reduce the impact on the global environment.

Our speaker this Thursday is Leah Haynes, the local Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager at Forever Found. A nonprofit providing a path to freedom for at-risk youth and child trafficking victims.

Thousand Oaks Rotary Club has always supported blood donations! World Blood Donor Day raises awareness for the need for blood and blood products (plasma, red cells, and platelets) around the world. Donated blood make surgeries possible and lessens a disaster's impact.

Our speaker this Thursday is funny man Jason Love. One of today’s hardest-working comedians, Jason has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, America’s Got Talent, and Dry Bar Comedy. Since the pandemic Jason has run a popular online show, Live Comedy in Your Living Room.

Juneteenth, also called Freedom Day and Emancipation Day, celebrates the abolition of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is a celebration of African American freedom, heritage and culture observed through songs, communal cookouts, and parades.
