These infrared views of the Horsehead Nebula, located about 1,300 light-years away, are taken by Hubble and Webb.

In near-infrared light, young stars nestled within the cloudy nebula can be seen, along with distant galaxies in the background.

NASA Webb Telescope Hubble released its view in honor of its 23rd anniversary back in 2013, seen to the right of Euclid's 2023 view.

Webb's new view shows a small portion of the Horsehead's 'mane' – unveiling the sharpest infrared views of this region to date. Find out more: go.nasa.gov/4beXazk
