Imagine you're a bee - how irresistible does this Dog Rose look 🤩 #RoseWednesday

A pair of wild irises (Iris reichenbachii) I painted in oils a few years ago, inspired by an encounter with the plant at the foot of Mount Olympus.

only found one before so didn't rate my chances of finding a Sundew Plume Buckleria paludum caterpillar high but on the first plant was one! I searched about 50 more plants but no more found. South Devon. These amazing caterpillars feed exclusively on this insect eating plant.
