Upon observing a student’s mess, my AP joked that he needed his own AREA with a FENCE around it. 💡 Like that, our next area/perimeter learning project was born. Thanks for the inspiration Ashley Kohlstedt !

Celebrated International Day of Mathematics by putting kids under a Math Curse. Shared Tang’s Math-terpieces to challenge our problem solving skills. Used this grouping strategy to create rectangles with a defined perimeter. Ended with creation of our own Math-terpieces using art from Debra Frasier! 🙌
