Here is an update from the festival committee for 2021: #roseandshamrock

The Rose & Shamrock Feis will open for registration on Feisweb on Sun. Feb 7th. We will not be announcing an opening time for registration as Feisweb has instructed us this is the best way to not overwhelm their server & allow those online to register in the easiest way possible.

The Rose & Shamrock feis will be held in person at the Celtic Center of Lancaster in Lancaster, PA on Friday, February 19th and Saturday, February 20th. Both days of competition will start at 8am.

At this time we anticipate preliminary championship and some open championship competitions will run on Friday, 2/19 and grades and the remaining open championship competitions will run on Saturday, 2/20.

At this time we do not have a more complete schedule and will not be able to answer further questions about competition scheduling until we have all our final competition numbers submitted after registration has closed.

The feis will have an overall cap of 200 competitors broken down as follows: 75 grades, 75 prelim, 50 open. Each individual competition will also have a separate cap to allow us to better plan building occupancy for the event.

So, your dancer's competition may show it is full and not allowing registration while the feis still shows it has not reached the overall cap and is still allowing registrations. Once the feis has reached its cap, a wait list will be posted on our website.

Dancers will be taken from that list based upon the timestamp on their entry. Please do not email us to be placed on the wait list or put wait list information in the comments of a Facebook post as dancers will not be placed on the wait list from those sources.

Please read our syllabus in its entirety before registration on our website at: roseandshamrock.org. Please pay special attention to COVID protocols (including mask wearing at all times, even while dancing) & PA state COVID regulations for out of state travelers.
