A personal update: the Kurtz family is heading back to Kansas City as I have accepted a position to teach systematic theology at Midwestern Seminary. I'm sure there will be more to share in the coming days but for now we are quite thankful and would appreciate prayer in the transition.

Was a joy to lead a seminar on Saturday for a number of student ministries in the Toledo area on the Trinity and to preach at Emmanuel Baptist Toledo Sunday morning. Also gave me an excuse to hop up to Detroit to catch a Tiger’s game and visit one of my favorite coffee shops.

The office is almost completely packed up. So thankful for this space over the past few years. It’s such a privilege to have space dedicated to thinking, writing, discipling.

One last time with Cedarville University. Major congrats to all the graduates, I am beyond thankful for so many of you.

One of my favorite days of the year—the Pulitzer Prize Awards. Every year, after the announcement, I pick up the book at my local bookstore. James will be added to this shelf of winners. This year, I’m bringing my one year old son along to start a new tradition for us. #Pulitzer
