Brandon Hyde begged Mike Elias to fire him before he had to watch Kyle Gibson pitch again. Elias might be fired during the game for signing Gibson.

The Gregory Soto and Seranthony Domínguez trades have really worked out for the Baltimore Orioles. They make about $13.3 million between them. Mike Elias really knows pitching. It's time for him to return to being a scout or farm director for some team. He's not a general manager.

Are we sure Brandon Hyde still isn't calling the shots for the Orioles? Bryan Baker throws just seven pitches in the 8th inning, but he doesn't pitch the 9th. Why? So you've wasted two relievers and Bautista has to start warming up. I don't get it.

Why take out Soto after two batters and two strikeouts? This interim manager might be worse than Hyde when it comes to the bullpen.

I know Urias hit a 2-run HR in his first at-bat, but swinging at the first pitch after two walks in the inning is just bad baseball. And it was a terrible pitch. Dumbassery, but indicative of the Orioles this season.

It was only a matter of time before the real Bryan Baker showed up for the Orioles. The fact he's being used as the main setup guy is a joke. This is going to be another deflating loss for the Orioles.

The Orioles might have missed their chance to trade Sugano and Eflin. They have absolutely sucked lately. Who would want them?

Ron Fritz (@ronfritz) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I would say the Orioles look like the Bad News Bears, but that would be demeaning to the Bears. The Orioles don't know what fundamentals are, and Gunnar Henderson couldn't look any less interested. It's sad.

This is the Orioles in a nutshell: Laureano works a walk, Cowser, the next batter, swings at the first pitch. Dumbassery. It's hard to have accountability with an interim manager.

I'm starting to see why Vogt might be overmatched. No feel for the game. Goes straight to the righty-lefty BS after Manzardo hits a double and HR. If he doesn't realize Fry sucks there is something wrong with him.

How are the Baltimore Orioles going to develop young players when they take them out in high-leverage situations? Young should have been given the chance to face Armstrong. A win today means absolutely nothing. Seeing if the kid can win this situation is much more important. Idiotic.

Why did Baltimore Orioles fill-in manager yank Enns after two strikeouts and just 11 pitches for Akin? The A's had no clue against Enns. Akin is not a closer! Just like Hyde, Mansolino has no feel for the game. Robot-like move to go to Akin when previous guy was lights out. Dumbassery.

I guess Rico Garcia could not have gone more than one inning, Fill-in Tony? You have no feel for the game. I realize this is a AAA bullpen at best, but don't you go with the hot hand? Dumbassery Baltimore Orioles.
