What we saw today was a disgrace pretending to be a protest. Using violence to deny election results and the threats of COVID-19, only serves to undermine the continuity of government & risk more lives to this very real pandemic. The truth and our democracy will prevail.

Black and Latinx communities continue to carry the brunt of COVID-19 cases & deaths. The vaccine provides hope but it only works if we take it. Today I stood with @Wellchildorg and fellow South LA leaders to replace fear with facts and uplift the need to take the vaccine.
