The Nursery children would like to wish you a Happy Easter and Eid Mubarak. Today we made Easter nests in our cooking session. We learned how to turn a solid into a liquid by melting it. Then we mixed it with Shredded Wheat to make a nest.

Year 5 had a fantastic time at the National Portrait Gallery. We looked at Tudor Portraiture and some Windrush Portraits (after our John Agard visit) as well as some more contemporary ones. We then sketched our own versions!

Y6 teamed up with our local Wandsworth Metropolitan Police to take part in Junior Roadwatch. The pupils used speed guns to measure the speed of vehicles along the A3 over the 40mph limit. They also had a chance to sit in a policed van and talk to the officers. #JuniorRoadwatch

In our topic of ‘Growing and Changes’, Reception Class decided we wanted to investigate plants further. On each table we had a plant that we could touch and explore to find out the difference between the parts. We did an observational drawing of our plant with captions.🪴 CLPE

Last Friday, Y3 visited the Science Museum to take part in a show which helped consolidate our learning about forces and magnets. It was brilliant fun! 🧲
