Day 2 of RMS 8th grade DC trip. At Arlington National Cemetery. Witnessing the changing of the guard at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. What a way to start our Day!

After lunch at the Pentagon City Mall, one group went to the African American Museum and another group went to the Holocaust Museum. We will switch tomorrow! Here’s the African American!

Last stops of the day were the Vietnam, Lincoln, and Korean Memorials! Wow, what a day. I’m logged at 27,500 steps and 10.2 miles for the day. Last day tomorrow!

Rain doesn’t stop RMS! First stop of our final day is at the Marine Corp Iwo Jima Memorial! Now, to the mall for lunch and shopping!

After lunch, our groups went to the museums that the others went to yesterday: the Holocaust and the African American Museums!

Thank you to the chaperones! This is not possible w/o them putting personal lives on hold to provide an amazing opportunity. It is 3 long days with little sleep, lots of walking and all efforts focused on making this the best experience possible. Thank you for everything you do!
