rootedinrights.org/when-disabled-… This gets to the heart of why I love, as an #autistic person, running autism social skills groups. Having that representation is so absolutely critical, and creates a safe space to be genuinely disabled, and support each other from a place of shared autism

It is ridiculously common for me to be in that shrugging "I don't know what to tell you" position when I talk with parents about their child's neurodiversity diagnosis, as they ask me "wow this sounds exactly like what I went through and why things are so hard for me still..."

This is one of the biggest reasons I see for school refusal. Kids aren't lazy, they're constantly anxious at school, and often facing horrendous bullying. Having remote and hybrid schooling options is a good start.

So important. If I went to an inpatient psych unit, I'd want to take dice and a few d&d books. Chances are they'd be denied, and I'd be really fighting boredom.

Watching my favorite James Earl Jones film, Conan the Barbarian, in honor of him. Thulsa Doom is my favorite of his roles, so subtle yet terrifying. He stands out, adding a fantastic menace and gravity to the entire story.

The Hasbro CEO commenting on how a lot of players are using AI as justification for it being used in #dnd is out of touch. A lot of DMs plagiarize shamelessly too. Doesn't mean we want it in our products.

autismpersonalcoach.com/autismstories/… I was on the autism stories podcast, talking about how I turned my story of finding autistic community through D&D into a career.
