The division between East and West Berlin is still visible from space because of their light bulbs. This photo, taken by Chris Hadfield, shows the East using sodium-vapour lamps appearing orange and the West using mercury vapour, fluorescent or LED lamps white.

This beautiful cover depicts periodic arrangements of plasmonic nanoparticles with tiny gaps (< 5 nm) between particles. Induced by polymer-based ligands, the gaps are key to boosting light-matter coupling Florian Schulz Learn more about this work: ow.ly/Cz6L50MciwC

Working on a portable spectrometer (288 channels) with acquisition of reflection & transmission coefficient - again. Also included: ThermoCam, audio & light FFT analysis and possibly a 100x100 2D-LIDAR. ScreenRes 800x480, ESP32s3 based. ..still a long way to go!

A new "μ-Spec nano" (v0.1) is in development. 21 channel spectrometer 260 - 940 nm, 8x8 2d LIDAR & FFT analyzer for audio. I'll need and take my time for it. Should it get a proper ftdi USB or at least a charging chip for a lipo? Should I open source it and put it on tindie?

One more sensor is working. One more (the last) sensor to debug. Also note to myself: Esp32 GPIO 12 (pin for internal flash, likes to float) dose not like a 100k pull-up. 36k is ok. With that I still can use that pin for a button state.

2"TFT is finally working and almost all sensors work and could be installed. Visualizations are coming together and I'll take my time for it.
