Just tried Devin by @cognition - the whole VM thing is nonsense. This needs to be an IDE you run locally with a browser plugin. And you use your own API keys. Cursor and @windsurf will likely launch their versions of this in a few weeks.

I'll be honest, I am surprised that Patched (YC S24) just ranked 7th for open-source tools on SWE-bench. We are not an 'AI Engineer' or a 'Coding Agent' - just a workflow engine that you can customize, self-host, and wrap around your LLM of choice. :)

Reasoning models are great. But they need complex tasks with clearly defined directions/constraints/goals. Most of us aren't used to that style of working.

We're excited to announce our latest advancement in building production-ready AI Agents with scalable long-term memory. Mem0 outperformed six leading baselines across diverse tasks on the LOCOMO benchmark - from single-hop and multi-hop reasoning, to temporal and open-domain

The fatal flaw of the SG startup ecosystem is how risk averse 'potential customers' are. A guy turned down his brother's startup (after initially being impressed by what he had done for a 'larger' customer) because he felt they were too 'small' for his org. Absolute opposite

ChatGPT has been lazy af recently. And just flat out wrong. Multiple queries over multiple days in multiple domains. Or is it just me?
