Had a cracking night last night taking journalists out to see ETCS digital signalling on Thameslink and Great Northern. More and more trains self-drive using ATO between London Bridge and St Pancras to keep everything on time.

Great to travel on a Great Northern train today, equipped with new technology to boost reliability & reduce delays, thanks to our £1.4bn East Coast Digital Programme. A pleasure to meet some of the drivers delivering these improved journeys as we modernise our rail network.
