Governor Brad Little and I came into office at the same time. With the over $400 million in tax cuts Little signed into law this year, the governor said he and state lawmakers have cut taxes by $6 billion in the six years he’s been in office. “Idaho has proven that we can

Idaho's legislature unanimously passed a resolution to rebuild the infamous Teton Dam - the same dam that catastrophically failed in 1976, causing massive flooding. Watch to see learn what Idaho Senator is pushing it forward and why. #Idaho #Idpol #Idleg #Dams #Power #Water

Sign the petition to store more water and perhaps rebuild the Teton dam. St. Anthony parade has some old fashion floats. Got to love the people that keep this tradition alive.

Visited the Vanorden and Wadda Farms today for a legislator tour. Learned more about water shortages and the H2A program for migrant farm workers. Both need help from our federal partners to secure Idaho into the next century. Robots are stacking potato sacks and sorting.

Spent time yesterday with Congressman Simpson and Farm Bureau as we toured the forest and the Teton Dam. We would like primacy over our Idaho forests and to begin the process of evaluating the rebuilding of the Teton Dam.

Great news for Salmon Idaho! I serve on this panel and co-sponsored the bill that passed unanimously. A state panel Monday approved $30 million in distributions from a school facilities loan fund, which lawmakers this year made easier to access after it sat largely dormant for

Attended the new Future Tech Building at the College of Eastern Idaho with Frontier Credit Union and BEA. So many people have worked so hard to fund and build this iconic structure. The State of Idaho through JFAC also contributed. Many from the Idaho Legislature were there.

Attended the Mahoney House Gala where they raised over $29,000 for kids that have been abused. Salmon may be the most generous city. S1203 was carried by me and Sen. Berke to keep these homes in operation statewide. Salmon received $190,000 to expand badly needed services .
