It’s a cold start here at Rocker. -3.5°C in the polytunnels last night.

Always a joy to realise, out of the corner of your eye, that you are getting help with weeding in the polytunnels.

We’ve tucked our precious salad leaves given the cold night they have in store.

We are delighted every year to become the nursery for a neighbouring flock at this time of year. It certainly livens up the place.

Templemore’s local award-winning salad is now available in O’Connell’s Centra Templemore. It’s the only retail store in town stocking the Blas na hÉireann Chef’s Choice Award winning leaves. Store owner Liam O’Connell is seen here with the first delivery to his Centra Ireland store.

We made our first salad delivery 3 years ago today. It has been an amazing journey. However, we’ve had to face the fact that, while we love our salad, it isn’t earning a living wage. So we are sorry to announce that we are ending production. Huge thanks to all who supported us.
