It is National Police Week with Sun. being Police Officers Memorial Day. Ofc Kahrs & Ofc. Dusovic are representing RPD in Wash. DC. They will be providing motor escort duties for families of fallen officers. The fallen officers will be honored during ceremonies held this week.

Today our Ofc’s met with surviving children of fallen officers. The motorcycle Ofc’s handed out bags of RPD goodies. Sadly there were over 200 kids hosted at the FBI Academy. This is always an emotional day for the motor Ofc’s. We are honored to be there to support these kids.

Today is the final day in Washington DC for our Motor Officers. Today they participated in Peace Officer Memorial Day services at the capital. They will be heading home tomorrow morning. We thank them for a job well done representing our department.
