We immersed ourselves in our new vehicle text, A River by Marc Martin, by making predictions based on what we could hear, see & touch. One group said, “We think the story is set in a jungle because we can see large leaves, a tiger & a parrot.” Literacy Counts ReadingRocks
After seeing how we can group animals based on their characteristics, we have moved onto grouping them by their diets. Today we completed venn diagrams to groups animals into omnivores, herbivores and carnivores 🦁🐒🐸🐴@ Developing Experts #RPScience

This week, we had a fantastic session with Rock Kidz - #AntiBullying & #SelfEsteem 🤘🎸 They taught us about having resilience and determination, whilst dancing and singing along to their catchy songs! #RPEnrichment

For reading time today, our class picked Chocolate Cake by Michael Rosen 💙💙🎓🎓 from the library. We loved it SO much, we wanted to see it read by the author himself…and just look how much it was enjoyed! Definately a new favourite!🍫🍰 #RPReading
What a first forest school session!We kept warm in an emergency shelter, practised our fire lighting, worked collaboratively to made bug houses and used ropes to make various shapes - all activities towards stamps on our forest school skills! #RPEnrichment Little Foot 🏕️🔥🌳
