Today I had the chance to be out on the playground with a 5th grade class. On the playground there’s no worries about test scores or learning loss or whatever other terms are being used to refer to last school year. There was only joy and play and kids being kids. ❤️Herndon Elementary

Started the day with an equity team mtg. Then met with the awesome @Grahammathteach. Next was working in a 5th grade class, a mtg w/the lit. team, and subbing in Art. A 2nd grade classroom to wrap up the day. #instructionalcoaching #otherdutiesasassigned Herndon Elementary

APS will maintain our current universal mask requirement for students, staff and visitors. Masks are required to everyone in our schools and school buses. Our mask guidance is posted on our website.
