Ian Happ making up for lost time. 4 home runs in the last week including 2 tonight. Cubs with the lead over the Phillies.

Mitch Keller Sunday's starter for the Pirates is 1-7. Pirates 29th in runs scored 3.22 a game. Cubs are 2nd 5.43 a game. Lets go win 3/4 from the Pirates. Cubs need wins especially against your own division.

In 2024, the Cubs were 23-29. You want to be in the playoffs? Do better in your own division. Each team in NL Central plays each other 13 times. Against Reds 5 wins., the Brewers 5 wins. the Pirates 7 wins. Cards 6 wins.

Its too bad, the Cubs didn't take 3/4 from the Cardinals. But they played two real good games to close the series. Houston is going to be hot but at least they have a roof so you can cool it down a bit. Let's get at least 2/3 from Houston.

I was wondering why Jordan Hicks was here and I know why. Taillon got put on the injured list with and injured calf. Taillon was supposed to pitch Saturday, so we can probably assume Hicks gets the start.

8 home runs for the Cubs against the Cards. WOW. Needless to say, making up for lost time. Save some of these runs for the weekend.

The one most important thing about Michael Busch's three home runs. He hit one off a lefty. Took the ball to left center and drove it deep. Hopefully he can straighten out his average against left handed pitching with a better approach.

The MLB All Star Game, they put in a room that if you were a starting pitcher on Sunday, you were automatic out of the All Star Game but since when did this not wanting to play to get rid of the season nonsense came up? I thought if you were hurt ,only way out.

The thing about the NFC north 15,14,11 wins for Lions, Vikes, Packers there is no way those three teams follow up with those high win totals. Good for Bears everyone will come back to the pack. Rest of NFC better watch out for the Bear this year.

Rich Hill got exploited by the Cubs. All the Royals pitchers did for that matter. 7 steals and it was just a feast against the KC battery.

There a lot of false pages dealing with the Cubs. It was already announced that Denzel Washington will be playing Ernie Banks. One false page said Tom Cruise. Its one thing to pump out bad info, but at least use a black man , talk about wrong skin color lol.

Wow.Cubs leave too many guys on base. Brewers jumping the pitching. Where is the Cubs offense? MIA. You got two guys Kriske and Hollowell you just recently brought up. Time to let these two guys finish the game. They need to pitch tonight.

Wednesday Afternoon in Milwaukee, Shota needs to save the Cubs. Offense seems like your top guys are all slumping big. Seiya especially.

robtoba (@robtoba) 's Twitter Profile Photo

An encouraging thing for the Cubs offense, they took 5 walks. Cubs pitchers struck out 10 and walked 0. You do not walk anyone good things should happen.

The Orioles during the trade deadline got rid of 9/26 players. They only scored in 1 inning of 18 played and yet the Cubs bullpen gave it away while the big offense didn't come through when needed. Cubs need a win Sunday.

Is the Cubs offense allergic to hitting the ball the opposite way? IDK you could grow your batting average if you stop trying to pull everything.
