Four years ago this was African lovegrass,silver grass and cape weed. Those without non wetting sands probably won’t be,but I’m impressed with what the boys have done here. Great result first year clayed. ✅

After a late and dry start, a good July has helped out. Vetch/rye corn mix is performing just in time for the lambing feed wedge. It’s been a winner for the last three years. 👍

New Christmas time family game!

Couldn’t be prouder of Mr 2. Negotiated the deal of the century and trades his two used dummies on a new digger. Taking over grain marketing this year😁. Marketing skill way above his Pa’s. ( thanks to the local Nhill business who got on board the deal👍)

Got to love Telstra. Landline out for 14 weeks this year. Limited to no mobile service. Replaced landline with never fail wireless system because landline to costly to fix. Worked for less than 18 hrs. Now waiting to fix??? 8 days spent waiting around.But the the bills arrived.

Years of spraying roadsides with no chemical rotation is leaving landholders battling to control weed like fleabane and African love-grass as the seed pressure explodes. Local govt needs to address this urgently.
