We've had an incredible last year. A big part of that has been evolving and adding to our leadership team. You know it's special when world-class folks choose to join the Agility family. agilityrobotics.com/news/2023/agil…

I had a choice this afternoon between finishing my Snap!Con 2023 talk or making Snap! Cloud blocks for the new Digit - I think we all know how this one turned out. Agility Robotics

I prepared a few surprises for my #SnapCon23 keynote today, including blocks for the new version of Digit! Looking forward to talking about how to make it easier for non-experts to use complex robots. Snap! Cloud Agility Robotics

Delighted to be quoted in this article - robots that work hard will fall sometimes! It is more important to fall well and recover quickly than to try and prevent it altogether.

Humanoid Robot companies should be filtered: → Robots delivered to customers vs. not → Dynamic walking vs. ZMP → Videos (live demos for bonus points) vs. renders But that's just me arguing on the internet.

I worked on this demo, and it was fascinating to put together a set of functions that Digit can call via the LLM! The task succeeds here, but we also dealt with how the robot can recover if a box is dropped or communicate that the request is something it can't (or shouldn't) do.

If you teach high school computer science and are looking for a cool end of the year activity, check out this video on how you can use block-based programming to learn more about how ChatGPT works!

Ever wonder how long your BirdBrain Technologies stuff will last? Well, I made this giant knitted octopus in 2015 with a Hummingbird Duo (the predecessor to the Hummingbird Bit), and it has been running daily in my local library since December 2021.

Decided to use a Finch to explore what LLMs do well and poorly with robots - I have only given my agent functions to move forward, turn right, and play a note (so far), but ChatGPT can use those to draw simple shapes and play common songs pretty well!
