Just saw one of the best seminars I’ve ever been to. Amazing work on dopaminergic mechanisms underlying susceptibility and resilience to stress by Annegret Falkner and colleagues. Can’t wait to see what they do next! #ACNP2022

So excited about this preprint from my great friend and collaborator Vincent Vialou! I’m proud of our contributions led by Andrew Eagle, but this is Vincent’s work, and I am so thrilled to see it come together into such a great story!

It was a pleasure writing this commentary about the excellent work by Kevin Manz, MD, PhD, Grueter Lab, The Calipari Lab, and colleagues! Check out my commentary in Biological Psychiatry, but more importantly, read the outstanding original paper in the same journal!

It was really fun to write this commentary about exciting new research published in Trends in Genetics!

So happy to be hosting Dr. Barbara Juarez Barbara Juarez for our MSU Neuroscience seminar series! Very proud of her success as an alum of Friedman Brain Institute, and excited to see all the great science she’ll do in her own lab at Univ of Maryland School of Medicine Neuroscience in Baltimore.

So excited to be a part of this terrific and productive collaboration with Geoffroy Laumet. This translational work describes a novel neuro-immune mechanism of pain resolution mediated by sex hormones. So cool!

So proud of Cristina Marie, a phenomenal MSU Neuroscience PhD student in the Mazei-Robison lab! Her work, supported by an HHMI Gilliam Fellowship, is outstanding!

So proud of this terrific work led by @nataliaduquew when she was a postdoc with my lab and Moeser GI Stress Lab. A novel and important role for FosB in mast cells!

Happy to announce that Michelle (who is Twitter-less) and I were both promoted to Full Professor. Thanks to MSU College of Natural Science, MSU Department of Physiology, and MSU Neuroscience for all the support!

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2025! Our doctoral program offers interdisciplinary research in state-of-the-art facilities. Students can explore cutting-edge topics in neuroscience across diverse subfields. More info/to apply: lnkd.in/evGrNhYC Robison Lab at MSU

I am excited to share my 1st first-author publication from my undergraduate research in the Robison Lab at MSU in Learning & Memory! Special thank you to Andrew Eagle for helping me to achieve this career milestone! Read it here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39592189/
