Working on shot list for comedic mystery short film I’m directing this June. Always humbled to be brought in on any project. Discovered this method earlier this year. I think I’ve found perfect format for myself to organize shot lists & communicate them to a team.

Has anyone noticed traffic in LA is like really bad, like worse than usual. Like even by Los Angeles standards this is a mess. Google maps doesn’t even have accurate times anymore it’s gotten so bad!

Genuinely the movie Free Guy has one of the best responses to the cynicism that can come with the holographic principle theory or just a nihilistic outlook on life. Lil Rel Howery is fantastic, an underrated dramatic actor, who manages to bring a real gravitas to a popcorn flick.

*Watching horror movie with friend*

Me: “Oh, see that actress? Yeah I bet something is going to happen to her face later. Long sharp cheek bones, great canvas.”

*1 hour later her face gets mangled up and cut open*

“CALLED IT!”

I’ve been in traffic for almost 3 hours. But I was listening to music with my window down and a man pulled up to me and was like:

“Dude is that The Mummy soundtrack?!”

“Yes it is!”

“Hell yeah!”

“You know ball!”

We fist bumped and he drove ahead. LA, can’t give this city up.
