Bibliomaniac that refuses intervention. Happily retired after 41 years in the library. Loves Lake Tahoe, spouse, & books, not necessarily in that order.

I am very eager to read Rumaan Alam's next book, ENTITLEMENT. I hope it's not as unsettling as LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND!

The good news is I was able to race through Nora Roberts' sequel to INHERITANCE, THE MIRROR, but the bad news is it means I'll have a really long wait to read the final title in the series.

Moon Unit Zappa's memoir, EARTH TO MOON, is now available on Edelweiss. I'm eager to read it; should prove to be interesting.

Like all of Sally Hepworth's domestic suspense novels, I enjoyed DARLING GIRLS, coming out later this month.

My next book is by the amazing author Willy Vlautin, THE HORSE. I was grabbed by the first page and will finish it soon. I hear it is excellent and, as is Vlautin's norm, emotionally grabbing. Library Love Fest

I must ring the bell again for Catherine Newman's excellent novel about family dynamics that made me laugh and cry, SANDWICH. The cover is scrumptious. Library Love Fest

I'm sorry to say many of our publishing pals won't be in attendance today as they are at PLA. Sorry about that. Hopefully, they'll catch up later.

A month or two ago, I shared a photo of a 4-drawer library card catalog I picked up at an estate sale for cheap. I finally figured out what to put in the drawers, so I made labels with call numbers. :-)

Hello, everyone! I'm sorry to say I forgot about the time change and booked haircuts for my spouse and me, so I won't be at most of the chat today. However, I am sending book love in the form of timed tweets. Carry on, friends!

It's almost the magic hour when we must stop talking books lest we all turn into pumpkins. See you all next month on April 4. Happy reading in March!

My trigger words for immediate adds to my TBR piles are 'gothic,' 'ghost,' and 'mansion.' So it's fair to say I wasted no time in getting GHOST MOTHER by Kelly Dwyer (August) and IN THE LONELY HOURS by Shannon Morgan (July).

Also on my virtual pile of titles to read is Willy Vlautin's THE HORSE. His books are such masterpieces that I have to find just the right to savor his spare yet affecting writing.

I'm always up for a good family drama, and these two sound very appealing. I loved Claire Lombard's MOST FUN WE EVER HAD, so looking forward to SAME AS IT EVER WAS (June) & Alison Hart's APRIL MAY JUNE JULY (May).

I have been reading more published books but am returning to the wagon of reading forthcoming books. Following are a number I'm looking forward to. First up is Elin Hilderbrand's aptly titled SWAN SONG, her last book set on Nantucket.
