Did you know that a voting outcome consisting of all majority opinions may not be supported by a majority of voters? We study how bad this effect can get (and what it means for democracy) in our recent paper at AAMAS 2022. arxiv.org/abs/2201.12303 Robin Fritsch

New paper alert! With Robin Fritsch we just completed v1 of the paper ``Arbitrageurs' profits, LVR, and sandwich attacks: batch trading as an AMM design response” TL,DR: an #AMM in which trades are batched eliminates #arbprofits #lvr #sandwitchattacks. Bye-bye #MEV!

New paper by CoW Research team Andrea Canidio & Robin Fritsch! Arb profits(aka LVR) & 🥪 attacks are the scourge of DeFI, but not for long! The paper discovers a new benefit of trading as a batch: designing an AMM with batch trading to eliminate both 👉 arxiv.org/abs/2307.02074

🌟 Major Milestone Alert! 🚀 The launch of FM-AMM (also known internally as CoWAMM), is one step closer! This was a fantastic journey: from the fundamental research with the invaluable Robin Fritsch, to figuring out how to bring it to reality. #CowSwap #MEV #AMM

New research with the amazing Robin Fritsch (who did most of the work) "Measuring Arbitrage Losses and Profitability of AMM Liquidity". Tldr: for passive LPs, Uni v2 pools are more profitable than Uni v3 pools, and, no, LVR does not explode with block time. (1/n)

In a paper: arxiv.org/abs/2410.10797 we look into effects of TimeBoost policy on arbitrageurs and MEV. Co-authors of the paper are: Robin Fritsch, Maria Ines Silva, Ed Felten and Ben Livshits. Check out a research post about the paper here: research.arbitrum.io/t/mev-capture-…

Looking forward to presenting our paper "MEV Capture Through Time-Advantaged Arbitrage" (with Robin Fritsch, Maria Inês Silva, Ed Felten, Ben Livshits) at MARBLE conference next week. Full program of the conference: marble-conference.org/programme-2025 The paper studies the value of TimeBoost
