I am not the biggest fan of McCarthy either, but let’s stop pissing around. If a Republican is going to be the speaker, it’s going to be him. All of this showboating might look good for certain individuals, but it’s hurting us in the big picture.

The chaos caused by the inability of #KevinMcCarthy and House Republicans to govern has real world consequences. We have no Members of Congress right now. We cannot see classified documents, hold Committee hearings or conduct oversight.
