Biden has the audacity to give that speech that protest shouldn’t lead to disorder — while planning to speak at Morehouse’s commencement— Martin Luther King Jr’s alma mater. MLK spoke about white moderates more devoted to order than to justice.

They still existed. Autistic kids were just dismissed as "weird" by classmates who bullied them and teachers who treated them as a behavioral problem. Young LGBT people lived terrified in the closet. Bullying people into silence doesn't mean they didn't exist.
