We are devastated to learn of the death of Philip Hedley. Philip was our Artistic Director from 1979 for 25 years. His legacy and work here, and in the wider theatre industry, was immeasurable. He will be much missed.

One of the reasons I’m so chuffed about this is me and my son still talk about the panto every day. He loved it so much & he’s obsessed with all the characters. Tonight we listened to one of the songs and he held my hand and said “I miss it.” ❤️❤️ 💔💔
